Xiaoka | Design for kids

Xiaoka was one of the first developers in China of blockbased educational software and hardware. They wanted to create an unique physical character that kids could control with their software.

We envisioned that the character looked like it did not know everything yet, and still had to learn things, something that the child would see as a little brother or sister. After a thorough design study we decided to go for quite an abstract but approachable shape, and this is how Xiaoka was born. Xiaoka steals everybody’s heart when he spins his body around and guides your child to many stages of his development.

Xiaoka 是最先为 blockbased 基于块编程教育的软硬件开发团队之一。他们想创造一个独特的物理角色，让孩子们可以用他们的软件来控制该机器人。

我们设想这个角色看起来还不知道所有的事情，还需要学习一些东西，一些孩子会认为是弟弟或妹妹的东西。

经过彻底的设计研究，我们决定选择一个相当抽象但又平易近人的形状，这就是小卡的诞生。当小卡旋转身体并引导您的孩子进入许多发展阶段时，他获得了每一个小用户的喜爱。
